Daniel Phillips is a senior open source developer in Samsung's Open Source Group. Daniel has been contributing to the Linux Kernel since 1998. Designed and developed the high performance HTree hash keyed btree index for Ext2, now used by Ext3, Ext4 and Lustre. Founded the Tux3 next generation filesystem project in 2008. After a tour of duty in the electronic hedge fund industry, re-emerged as a low latency networking specialist and committed open source advocate.
